Spring Ordeal
Ordeal
Candidates:
Make sure you have everything you need to check in:
- $35 Cash or check
-Have completed equipment list
Check In at Camp Tuscarora:
- Registration is 5-7pm on Friday evening
- Registration is located in the OA Lodge building
After your Ordeal / Sunday Morning:
- Arrange to leave camp Sunday morning between 9:00 and 10:00am
- Don’t forget to attend your Chapter next meeting

Attending the Spring Fellowship:
Cost:
$15 in advance or $20 at the door
Where: Camp Tuscarora
Meet us at Spring Fellowship 2010! It’s another
time of cheerful service and fellowship. We will be using this week to help
prepare the camp for the multitude of campers that it is our pleasure to host
during the summer. Remember though, while this may not sound like a whole lot of
fun, we are NAYAWIN RAR Lodge; we make EVERYTHING fun! Don't think your work
won't be rewarded at Spring Fellowship, because the Lodge will be rolling out
the ever so popular carnival with fun, games and fellowship. Who can forget the
Trade-O-Ree and Movie Night!? The Vigil Committee (VC) will meet Friday evening
of Spring Fellowship to select the 2011 Vigil Class. The Executive Committee
Members (ECM) will be meeting Sunday Morning at 9:00 a,m.

NLS Information
The
National Leadership Seminar (NLS) is a weekend conference focusing on the skills
and characteristics of leadership. It is intended primarily to enhance the
leadership skills of the Order of the Arrow’s key youth and adult members, as
they seek to improve their service to the Boy Scouts of America and the greater
community.
The
NLS will provide participants with:
1.
A
challenging, inspiring, and enjoyable learning experience
2.
A
better understanding of the skills of leadership, and how to apply them
3.
A
better understanding of themselves and of other people
4.
A
realization that, with practice and work, everyone can improve their leadership
skills
5.
An
understanding that leadership skills work in tandem with one another
6.
An
understanding that different situations require the application of different
leadership skills
7.
A
model with which to evaluate themselves and others in the use of leadership
skills

NLATS Information
The
National Lodge Adviser Training Seminar (NLATS) is a weekend conference focusing
on the skills and attributes of effective lodge advisers. It is intended
primarily to enhance an adviser's knowledge of and connectivity with the OA's
strategic plan, program and resources, while emphasizing personal skills that
are essential to the development of effective youth leadership and ultimately
the OA's service to the council.
